Boracay, Philippines
As the magazine reports, this tiny island is just under four square miles, is known for its bustling nightlife and crystal-clear beaches.
White Beach, the island’s biggest attraction, has long been a destination for water activities like swimming and snorkelling.
Cebu and Visayan Islands, Philippines
It is the “most densely populated island in the Philippines,” the magazine says, but you wouldn’t guess it from its pristine beaches and never-ending waters.
Palawan, Philippines
The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River is one of the new seven natural wonders of the world and it runs through Palawan.
Visitors can take guided boat tours for part of the journey, admiring the rocks, beaches, and tropical trees that line its borders.
Mallorca, Spain
The first island on the list that’s not in the Philippines is Mallorca, a popular Spanish getaway in the summer months.
The turquoise waters and surrounding mountains make for immediate Insta-worthy pics, and the easy travel means it’s just a quick flight from nearby major cities, making it a quick trip for most travelers.
Mykonos, Greece
Rounding out the top five is Mykonos, a Mediterranean island that holds serious Greek history and, yes, some of the world’s best foods.
