Us Aussies may love our green juices, Meatfree Mondays and almond lattes (hold the sugar), but did you know that Australia is ranked the fifth fattest nation in the world? Yep.
Furthermore, research shows that worldwide obesity is at an all-time high, more than doubling since 1980.
In response to such alarming statistics, fitness guru and activewear queen, Lorna Jane is on a mission — a mission to make a change.
Her newly launched Active Living Program is an easily accessible (and cost-free) online program, which promises to equip you with all the tools you need to live your best life, the Lorna Jane way:
MOVE
Sweat it out with a selection of cardio, strength and stretch workouts designed to help you move every day with fitness circuits courtesy of some of the best trainers in the biz. BUF Girls, we’re looking at you.
“Active Living is my personal life philosophy. It’s a way of life that has been adopted by thousands of woman all over the world because it shows them how to incorporate health and fitness into their everyday lives with ease.” – Founder, Lorna Jane Clarkson
NOURISH
On the food front, the all-inclusive guide includes daily/weekly meal plans (alternative options if you’re veggo, vegan or dairy-free), deliciously healthy recipes, a downloadable shopping list and meal prep tips.
BELIEVE
Inspiring you to take some time out and refocus on your goals, the self-love section encourages you to start each day with good vibes only. Think; a 5-minute meditation, positive affirmations and journal writing.
“We believe everyone should have access to good quality health and fitness, but we also know that affording a personal trainer, gym membership or participating in an 8-week challenge is simply not possible for an increasing number of people,” the company states.
“We want everyone to have access to the best possible professional health and fitness information and so we have developed a program that will educate, inspire and motivate those looking to improve their overall health and wellbeing.”
