As the maker of the leggings that had an 1000 person waitlist (and sold out twice!) it was only a matter of time before US active wear retailers Bandier went global. It appears that day has come, as they’ve just set up their first location outside the States. I guess you could say that Bandier just got Bandier-er! I’m sorry, I’ll show myself out…
Anyway, the first stop on their quest for world domination is Toronto, Canada. They’ve partnered with Renfrew (which is like the Canadian version of Saks in the US or David Jones in Australia) to open a shop inside the retailer’s Bloor Street location. Like their other boutiques, the Bloor Street location will offer a selection of active wear, footwear and accesories.
The store opened last week and will be around for four months, so technically it’s a pop-up. However, if all goes well, we’re sure to see more permanent fixtures appearing in Canada and beyond.
You can now find cold-pressed juice bars and Pilates classes in almost every city globally. Bandier. We always said that Bandier would be successful wherever there was a thriving fitness community, and now there are so many more location options for us to consider and places where we want to have a presence.
-CEO and founder, Jennifer Bandier
