The famed hip-hop yoga studio just opened its flagship West Coast location to kick off 2018, so Silver Lake, California residents will soon be able to get their Y7 on just months after the company opened up a brand new location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Known for their signature hip-hop yoga — where you flow to the likes of Jay Z, Nicki Minaj, and others — the company’s new space is the ideal mix of ‘West Coast feel’ with its well-known candlelit vibe.
“Get ready to experience Y7’s signature sweat dripping, beat bumping, candlelit yoga, with a California twist in a 2,500 sq. ft indoor-outdoor space,” the company announced. “Equipped with private outdoor showers, an outdoor seating deck, an open-air refresh bar, a pop-up retail space, and of course, new exclusive merchandise for our L.A. tribe, this studio will be the first of its kind.”
The space, equipped with three indoor showers, an outdoor seating area, both outdoor and indoor lockers and an open-air refresh station, also includes brand new LA-exclusive merch specially designed for the space. (The company also has their own Brooklyn-inspired line).
The workout area, which has an infrared heating system and state-of-the-art sound system, is decked out in classic Y7 style — with the expected “A Tribe Called Sweat” design that’ll keep you grounded as you move through your flow.
On top of that, you can expect to find the Malin+Goetz products, Manduka mats and skidless towels that are staples at the brand’s nationwide location.
