It’s a number of things from stress to sleep to anxiety that can weaken our immune system and let our body’s guard down from time to time. Stress is something that we as humans have to deal with every single day, but if you’re chronically stressed, it can negatively affect your health. On top of you getting sick, it might cause headaches, irritability, fatigue, sleeping issues, and more. You can reduce stress by exercising, meditating, a healthy diet, and therapy.

Another reason you may feel sick may be due to having an immune system disorder that affects your body’s ability to protect you against infection and disease. It can also overreact to infection as well, making us feel sick as well. The ways you can help this is by eating a good diet, exercising, avoiding stress, and getting a lot of sleep.

3) Sleep

Are you getting enough sleep? It may the cause of you getting a cold everytime winter rolls around. Sleep deprivation is real! It can cause irritability, difficulty processing thoughts, drowsiness, anxiety, and depression. It can also cause diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, and a weakened immune system.

5) Nutrition

Your nutrition may be why you get sick. The truth is, if you’re not getting the proper nutrients, your body does not work in optimal mode. And this effects almost everything.

6) Your Vitamin D Levels

Vitamin D deficiency has been linked to a weakened immune system. By increasing your vitamin D intake with doos like fatty fish, egg yolks, and mushrooms, you can do a lot for your health. Also, you can go outside to reap the benefits. If not, taking a supplement may help as well.

7) Your Oral Health

Guess what? Not brushing your teeth often can lead to bad oral health and regular health. Keep the good bacteria in and the bad out!
