Any New Yorker knows how important it is to have a seriously good winter jacket. One that’s going to make you feel like you’re still tucked up in bed when you’re braving the snow but that’s more couture than camping. One that’s functional, wearable and affordable. Said jacket is hard to find but when found, it’s even harder to take off.
That’s how we feel about The Statement Jacket by Carbon38. A down-filled puffer, it’s like a stylish sleeping bag. It’s big, cosy and fashionable, too. With fleece-lined pockets, quilted stitching throughout and a shawl-style collar, Carbon38 literally thought of everything—it won’t just keep your body warm but your neck and hands too.
Being all-black, it’s extremely versatile and can be paired back with just about any outfit. You can style it sporty with leggings and sneakers (see below) or dress it up for a night on the town. Plus, at US$400, it won’t break the bank. (Hint: You could even pick up a pair of these Ultracor leggings that would go perfectly).
I mean, if hygge were a jacket, this would be it. Check it out below paired with a Nike sweater, Alo Yoga tights and top and Nike X A.L.C sneakers on our founder, Bianca Cheah—she won’t take it off!
