If you ask us, there are a few things you’re never too old for — fairy bread, watching Disney movies, coming to mum for advice… And at the top of that list (after mum’s advice, of course) is glitter! Yes, it may be a little ‘extra‘, but there’s just something about sparkles that makes life more fun. Which is exactly why we were so stoked to hear that our beloved glitter is about to join forces with one of our other favourite things, athleisure, via Puma’s new collection.
The activewear brand has teamed up with UK designer Sophia Webster for the Princess PUMA collection. Sophia is known for her unabashedly girly and sometimes whimsical style, and that can be seen throughout the collection. Think practical pieces like T-shirts, tights, jackets and bodysuits updated in electric hues, with fruity and feather-print ombré patterns and, of course, glitter appearing throughout. Adding an offbeat touch is an adorable tutu-esque skirt, which is given a contemporary – and wearable – twist through the sporty, Puma branded waistband.

The gorgeous collection is set to release as part of two key drops, with the first launching in March and the second following in May. The first sees Sophia’s chic and bold signature aesthetic applied to PUMA’s well-loved court classics, the Suede and Basket, as well as Platforms and Leadcats slip-ons featuring an abundance of glitter, colour and metallics. Completing the footwear offering are the all-new standout Muse Echo with pastel ombre knit and new design updates on the PUMA x Sophia Webster’s signature cage detailing. The whole thing is giving us a 90s throwback meets fairy princess vibe and we’re totally here for it.
