It’s crazy (and a little bit scary) to think that we’re already more than a quarter of the way through 2018. Chances are, some of your initial ‘new year, new me’ motivation is starting to dwindle and you haven’t quite got your mojo back after the Easter break. Not to worry—there’s no shortage of awesome events happening all over Australia in April that are sure to get you back on track with your goals. From fitness events, programs and collabs to virtual workouts and a career pop-up, these are the April happenings you’re going to want to put in your diary.

Fitness Show Sydney

If you’re a fitness fanatic in Sydney, this is one event you won’t want to miss. Held over three days (Friday April 20 – Sunday April 22), it’s the biggest event of its kind in the southern hemisphere, where all of the latest fitness gadgets, gym equipment, exercise classes and more are unveiled. They also have a pretty epic lineup of speakers, including Jessica Sepel, Lola Berry, Steph Claire Smith, Laura Henshaw, Kelsey Wells and more! Yep, we guarantee you’re going to walk out feeling motivated to hit the gym.

Girls Who Glow

For our younger readers, you absolutely can’t miss Girls Who Glow—a series of fun and inspiring workshop for teens. Hosted by Network Ten Presenter Liv Phyland, former Saturday Disney host, Teigan Nash, and Jules Sebastian from The Sebastian Foundation, these one-day workshops will empower 13 to 18-year-old girls to be their healthiest, happiest, brightest and best selves. They cover everything from exercise and body image to social media, healthy relationships and mental health, Joining Liv, Teigan and Jules on the road trip is a star-studded lineup of guest speakers, including motivational speaker Emma Carey, Logie nominated Actress, Marny Kennedy, Lifestyle Blogger and YouTuber, Ally Sheehan, ABC ME host, Grace Koh, Health and Fitness Advocate, Keiron Douglas. In case all of that isn’t enough,  there will also be a delicious catered lunch and afternoon tea, and an epic take-home goodie bag. The workshop kicks off in Sydney on 20th April, followed by Canberra on the 22nd, Wagga Wagga on the 24th and last but not least, Adelaide on the 28th.

Zova Fit

Here’s one star-studded event you can attend, no matter where you live! Fitness app Zova’s Celebrity Classes are structured as a weekly HIIT class , hosted by expert trainer Vix Burdon, one of Sydney’s most in-demand trainers. Each Monday, a new workout is released featuring a different special celebrity guest. So far, celebs like YouTuber Brittany Lee Saunders, model Natalie Roser and BUF Girls founder and Biggest Loser co-host Libby Babet have made appearances. In the next instalment (airing April 16th), Vix puts Insta-famous creative cake maker Katherine Sabbath through her paces.

That’s why from Wednesday 11th April to Saturday 14th April, the innovative brand will be holding their IKEA Future Career Lab.
