When it comes to athleisure from head to toe, two brands spring to mind: Outdoor Voices and Allbirds. Both fan-favorites in their own right, the companies are all about comfort and style. So when we got news that they’d be joining forces to release a capsule collection that our casual dreams are made of, we cancelled our weekend plans and made a date with the couch.
That is, until we found out that the collection was inspired by a new form of activity: jogwalking.
“Inspired by Jogwalking—an activity that falls between a leisurely walk and a competitive run—and drawing from the two brands’ soft, versatile materials and tonal color palettes, the Allbirds & Outdoor Voices Kit is designed for ultimate comfort during everyday adventures,” the companies announced in a joint press statement.
Think running errands, shopping at the farmers market and don’t-want-to-be-late-for-a-brunch-date attire.
You can buy the kit in two different color themes: navy or grey, for both men and women (holiday wish list, anyone?). In the kit you’ll find an Outdoor Voices top and bottom, as well as a matching, and all new, pair of Allbirds Wool Runners in either Black Iris or OV SF Grey.
But that’s not all. The kit also comes with an exclusive Jogwalkers Club tote bag (so you can promote your high status as a Jogwalker). The whole package comes out at US $195 for men and $220 for women, and you can grab them at either Allbirds.com or OutdoorVoices.com, or head to Outdoor Voices’ Nolita store in New York City.
“We are thrilled to work with Tyler and Outdoor Voices on a collection that embraces a better approach to everyday activity,” Tim Brown and Joey Zwillinger, co-founders of Allbirds announced. “It ’s been fantastic partnering with a like-minded brand who also looks at the world in a different way.”
If you’ve been a follower of the two brands for a while, the pairing seems only natural; Both companies focus on premium technical fabrics and champion comfort.
“I met Joey [Zwillinger] and Tim [Brown] a few years ago and our teams quickly became friends,” says Tyler Hanley, founder and CEO of Outdoor Voices. “We couldn’t be more excited to bring our first head-to-toe Kit to life, and couldn’t imagine better partners to do it with.”
Fact: ultimate comfort is here. Let’s get to jogwalking.
