6 Of The Best New Studios On ClassPass This Month

Here's what's new on the app this month.

Opening up the ClassPass app is slightly overwhelming—if you’re not exactly sure what you’re looking for, you might find yourself endlessly scrolling through what seems like infinite workout options.

Or maybe you’ve been rocking your ClassPass membership for a while, so you hop straight to the same few studios that you know you love. Hey, we appreciate your sweat session loyalty. But sometimes it can be nice switch things up, and trying new workouts can be really good for your body. Working muscle groups in a differently than what you’re used to will increase your overall fitness, and clue you in on where you might be lacking strength or stamina. And who knows—maybe you’ll find your new favorite studio!

Here are the newest classes on ClassPass in October that you should check out—and what to expect.

Los Angeles

If you like: Strong yoga flows paired with cold brew on tap (and unlimited shopping)

Alo Yoga
Alo Yoga

Try: Alo Yoga

Alo Yoga’s Beverly Hills flagship store is totally gorgeous. The popular yoga line’s entire collection is neatly organized on racks after racks, and shoppers can sip on a cold brew or kombucha as they peruse. In true yogi fashion, Alo installed an airy, spacious studio directly above their studio. Expect to enjoy a small, 50-minute athletic class with a well-vetted instructor (who’ll be in head-to-toe Alo, no doubt!). There’s plenty of parking in the back, but get there early because trust us—you’ll want to shop!

If you like: Bootcamp-style trainers who love to pump up the jams, and trying unique workouts

I Am Fitness 365
I Am Fitness 365

Try: I Am Fitness 365
There’s a lot happening at I Am Fitness 365—but you can’t skip their popular Hip Hop Trampoline Boxing class. Yes, it uses mini trampolines, but that doesn’t mean it’s all fun and games. You’ll get a serious full-body workout in during this fast-paced, low-impact workout.

If you like: Meditation, Yin yoga, and “Miss Congeniality”

Knowles Karate Academy
Knowles Karate Academy

Try: Knowles Karate Academy
Choose from Tai Chi, yoga, or Women’s Self-Defense classes at this studio on the outskirts of Koreatown. We recommend the self-defense class—you’ll get in a solid workout as your practice, and feel confident you can hold your own à la Gigi Hadid if anyone tries to take advantage of you. Strong independent women, this class is for you!

Orange County

If you like: Kayla Itsines, Crossfit, and short workouts

Lean Bodies
Lean Bodies

Try: Lean Bodies

Based on HIIT training, Lean Bodies studio in Costa Mesa is perfect for anyone trying to fit in a quick, sweaty, strength-based workout. (I thought it was going to be Pilates… whoops!) Although the studio is small, it’s well-kept and has some interesting machines that you probably wouldn’t find at your regular Crossfit Box or 24-Hour Fitness. Classes are small, so you’ll get lots of one-on-one adjustments.

If you like: Classical Pilates, lots of equipment, small groups

Pilates in the Canyon
Pilates in the Canyon

Try: Pilates in the Canyon

Getting back to basics never felt so good. The instructors at Pilates in the Canyon really know their stuff, and their reformer-based classes that integrate the tower and jump board are refreshing in this age of high-tech megaformers. Instead of concentrating on lifting heavier and harder, you’ll learn the proper biomechanics of every move you do. Perfect for those who are just starting Pilates or more advanced practitioners who want to focus on their technique.

If you like: Barre classes, Pilates, and pulsing

Power Pilates
Power Pilates

Try: Power Pilates

You’ll move a little more quickly at Power Pilates, but that’s not a bad thing. The clean, bright studio is welcoming, and the instructors are fun and knowledgeable. Be prepared for a class that uses elements of barre, yoga, and basic toning exercises—this isn’t straight Pilates, but you’ll still get an excellent, lengthening workout.
