If you’re running low and craving for a dose of coffee, your day is about to get a whole lot better. Starbucks has launched its famed bottled Frappuccinos, but this time with almond milk and we’re more than a little excited.
Late last year, Consumerist reported that the famed coffee chain would be bringing out its pumpkin spice flavored drinks to grocery chains nationwide, and that consumers could soon expect to see K-cups, Via instant coffee packs, and, of course, the bottled Frappuccinos on shelves.
We eagerly awaited the release and let’s just say, it didn’t disappoint. And even though we’ve just kicked off fall season—and have been drinking up the PSL like they’re going out of season—Starbucks is already looking ahead. The company just dropped its 2018 lineup and it’s sure to please any coffee drinker.
In its press release, the company announced that they’ll be expanding their Frappuccino portfolio to include the vanilla and mocha flavours, but this time with a healthier twist!
“In May 2018, the longest-standing product in the Starbucks [ready-to-drink] portfolio will soon be available with Almondmilk in Vanilla and Mocha,” the company said. “Customers who prefer non-dairy alternatives in their beverages will now be able to enjoy the sweet and creamy Starbucks Bottled Frappuccino Chilled Coffee Drink with Almondmilk – and at 35% fewer calories than coffee and mocha bottled Frappuccino beverages.”
But that’s not all. Starbucks will also be launching new almond milk Doubleshot Coffee Smoothies in two mouth-watering flavours—Dark Chocolate Banana and Vanilla Honey Banana—so you can get your caffeine and fruit fix in one.
Excited already? Us too. Come next year, we’ll be stocking our fridges full of fraps but until then, you can still stop by in-store at your local Starbucks to get the made-to-order version, which is equally tasty.
