Ladies, you will no longer have to hide your receipts of purchase from your significant other or pretend not to care when every new monthly drop arrives in your inbox OR play the whole ‘Oh this? I bought it ages ago’ game — because something tells us that you’re going to have to make a little room in your virtual shopping cart (and real-life wardrobe).
You see, when it comes to P.E Nation, the addiction is real — and this is one thing that said significant other (boyfies, hubbies, etc, etc.) will soon come to learn because they’ve got no idea about what they’ve been missing out on.
Today, the Aussie athleisure brand is set to debut its first menswear collection exclusively with Matchesfashion.com, followed by the launch on Pe-nation.com on February 15, 2018 — and quite frankly, tha boys are going to be stoked.
“Launching menswear with Matchesfashion.com is a massive dream come true!” says Claire Tregoning, P.E Nation Co-Founder and Creative Director. “As a luxury fashion destination for the confident global customer, it perfectly aligns with our brand ethos.”
“Matchesfashion.com delivers on the kind of service we hope that we provide as a brand. It’s premium. It’s cool. It’s perfectly curated. It’s innovative and it’s personalised. We’re so thrilled to be part of the Matches family and set that bar for our menswear.”
The collection, entitled United in Sport, boasts all that we already know and love from signature P.E Nation designs — think; retro-inspired, vintage sportswear, oversized silhouettes, bold colour-blocking and large logo branding.
One additional feature to the collection is its use of merino wool as part of a partnership with The Woolmark Company. Not only does merino wool promise premium comfort and quality, it also acts as a thermal temperature control which cleverly works to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter.
For Co-Founder and Creative Director Pip Edwards, the expansion into menswear was a no-brainer and a natural progression of the brand’s existing offering.
“We didn’t intend for P.E Nation to only be for women,” she said. “It’s a brand with roots anchored in menswear. The desire to deliver to men what we deliver to women — effortless, comfortable, functional, everyday wear — this has always been our vision. From running to boxing to spin and everything in between, P.E Nation unites comfort and style for a fresh take on men’s active and athleisurewear.”
Now, you might wanna hide that credit card.
United in Sport is available from Matchesfashion.com from 1 Feb, 2018 and then from www.pe-nation.com and select retailers globally from 15 Feb, 2018.
