If you’ve had your go-to leggings style picked out for years, listen up. There’s another beloved brand that’s getting into the women’s wear world with brand new offerings.
Nike opened its “Pants Studio” online a few weeks ago and just announced that it will bring the same designs and leggings to nearly 5,000 of its stores worldwide.
“We are #1 globally in the bottoms market, but we aren’t satisfied, so we talked with women around the world and heard a common theme…make product by activity,” Nike announced, according to CNBC. “Our Pant Studio features a range of new silhouettes because it’s not only about tights anymore.”
So no matter what your workout of choice, the company is going to get you all geared up — all while making shopping easier for you in-store.
“We are designing for every athlete — no matter what activity they’re doing,” says Jamie Lee, Senior Design Director for Nike Women’s Training, in the company’s news release. “On top of expanding the styles, we’re giving choices for materials, finishes, feel, rises, lengths and features.”
The company is specifically launching brand new styles designed for sprinting, long-distance running, a running pant (not a tight!), HIIT workouts, a pro-focused training session, spinning, and yoga. Basically, any and every kind of routine you may have planned.
“We know that many women do different types of workouts, and for each workout, there is something they need functionally from their tight or pant that isn’t the same across all the activities,” Lee continues. “So, now we have styles that are more for the studio, for traditional training workouts and even a team-oriented tight.”
The company’s announcement was immediately felt throughout the athleisure community, and it’s no surprise that our shopping options are about to seriously change.
