Chances are, Halloween is an occasion you’re more likely to associate with candy than Chair Pose. But here at Amodrn, we believe you can put a healthy spin on just about anything and Ol’ Hallow’s Eve is no exception. That’s why we’re so psyched for Flow Athletic’s latest silent yogaevent, Flow After Dark Halloween.
The pre-Halloween celebration this Thursday is set to be Flow After Dark’s biggest event yet. More than 1000 yogis will descend on Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion for some backbends and beats. You’ll feel like you’re having a one-on-one session with Flow Athletic yoga guru Kate Kendall, as the wireless headphones create a completely immersive experience. Oh, and don’t panic if you don’t know your Downward Dog from your Cat’s Pose: the event will cater for all experience levels.
For the first time ever, Flow has partnered with Ministry of Sound, so resident DJ James Mack will spin some eclectic tunes throughout the 90-minute class.
“Having Ministry of Sound partner with our event is huge for not only us, but for active lifestyle events in general. There’s no doubt that there’s been a huge interest and growth in ‘healthy nights out’. Flow After Dark keeps gaining more and more traction (and even international interest) after every event that we do that we need to keep finding spaces big enough to fit everyone!”
– Kate Kendall
If you thought Flow After Dark Halloween was just going to be about yoga, think again. You’ll be able to look chic while you work out thanks to Aveda’s yoga braid station and Alix McDermott’s Halloween-inspired makeup stall. There will be plenty of healthy (and tasty) treats to get your hands on too, with The Clean Treats Factory, Wild Kombucha and Body Science all setting up shop. See you guys there.
