Without getting all sorority sleepover on the whole matter, can I just say, females f*cking rock. Whether it’s Rosa Parks refusing to stand up or Emmeline Pankhurst refusing to sit down, Cathy Freeman making waves in women’s sport or Adele making us cry, iconic women throughout history and all over the world are worth celebrating. They’re courageous, bold and brilliant.
But you don’t have to go so far. Look a little closer to home and you’ll find you’re surrounded by incredible women. Your mother, daughter, sisters and friends and of course, you. So today, on International Women’s Day (#IWD2017), we’re celebrating all the amazing women we know and what we’ve learnt from them.
