A stressful workweek followed by a jam-packed weekend can leave you feeling totally exhausted. So, it’s important to pencil in some time for—you guessed it—yourself.
For a little “me time” motivation, we reached out to wellness coach and meditation teacher, Ashley Hunt. Thankfully, she was more than happy to share a simple 12-minute guided meditation to help you take charge of your mental and physical health.
Have you wanted to try meditation but aren’t really sure where to start? Or maybe you’ve tried it before but didn’t really get it, or know if you were doing it right.
This simple, short guided meditation will help you take time out during your day to stop and breathe. Focusing on a simple breathing exercise, this meditation encourages you to be mindful, while allowing you to effortlessly slip into a state of relaxation. In our modern lives that move at a million miles an hour, this is the perfect way to slow things down and bring your focus back to you and your body. A perfect reminder of how important it is to look after yourself and to put yourself first.
You can listen while you’re on the train, before you get out of bed, while at work or while going for a walk – Ashley Hunt.
