We are committed to using the platform to raise awareness for injustice in the world and showcase the diversity that makes our world incredible, unique, and one of a kind. Today, we want to some of our favorite black influencers who inspire us to do more, across all fields. To be better moms, wellness advocates, love our bodies the way they are, get strong, and more! Misty Copeland is an American ballet dancer for American Ballet Theatre, one of the three leading classical ballet companies in the United States. Misty is the first African American woman to be promoted to principal dancer in the company’s history. She is strong, powerful, and incredible at what she does.
2) Sophia Roe
This New York City-based chef is a wellness advocate. She used fresh and innovative ingredients to create delicious dishes that are good for you too. We’re obsessed with you, Sophia!
3) Erica Chidi
Erica Chidi is helping many cultivate body literacy and sex-positivity by giving them the tools to advocate for their reproductive health and wellbeing. Erica has guided thousands of people in their transition from pregnancy to parenthood in her work as an educator, doula and author of the bestselling book, Nurture: A Modern Guide to Pregnancy, Birth and Early Motherhood. She helps women understand pleasure, relationships, and being shame-free.
4) Sami Miró
Eco-friendly goddess! Sami’s own namesake line is all recycled and only available for a limited time. She is running a fashion label that is focused on sustainability. Woman-owned, black-owned.
5) Gabi Fresh
When you are given a body-positive role model like Gabi Fresh, the possibilities are endless. She teaches us to love ourselves just the way we are. We are so captivated by her gorgeousness and are thankful for her endless teachings on the power of loving you.
6) Ebonee Davis
Supermodel, role model, who has also turned activist. Ebonee is beautiful in so many ways, but we love that she expresses herself through her art and leading a young generation of revolutionaries who want to change the system.
7) Kristen Noel Crawley
From her style to her beauty line, we’re obsessed with this mom of 2 and her endless ability to also give us inspiration on the daily. We love you, KNC!
8) Oneika Raymond
We have a special place in our hearts for mommy influencers, and we love love love Oneika. She’s a TV Host, writer, and also an international speaker who uses travel to empower us all.
9) Maria Antionette
Another incredible mother we want to highlight, Maria Antoinette. An educator who uses her platform to help other women, she creates so much good in the world and a place for many to come when they want community.
10) Massy Arias
We want to be Massy when we grow up! The mom is so strong, has incredible fitness tips, and is always challenging us to be stronger and push ourselves.
11) D. Nicole
This woman is strong, sexy, and powerful! She is also keeping us fit ALL throughout quarantine. She’s a full-blown athlete with incredibly easy to follow workouts that have amassed a huge following.
