Pip Edwards & Leah Simmons come together to raise health awareness

P.E. Nation Designer Pip Edwards and fitness guru Leah Simmons come together to raise health awareness.

Australian charity, Pink Hope have recently launched their trademark Pinky Promise campaign – a pledge for women to declare they will support their bestie and help them keep on track health wise.
The initiative is in its second year and aims to equip best friends with regular tips, tricks, support and guidance to stay on top of for their own and their best friend’s health.

“Women turn to their besties for health support and advice. Knowledge is power, and having your best friend’s back and supporting them with information and tips to always be on top of their health is the ultimate pinky promise,” said Krystal Barter, founder of Pink Hope and BRCA gene mutation carrier.

Celebrities, influencers and media from around the world have shown their support for the campaign including Victoria Secret models Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Lily Aldridge, Pip Edwards, Leah Simmons, Teresa Palmer, Anna Heinrich, Carissa Walford, Tash Sefton and Elle Ferguson.

To celebrate this worthwhile cause, BFF’s Pip Edwards and Leah Simmons have shared why they’re making the ultimate pinky promise.

It is important to be in control of your health because… it impacts your emotions, your output, your energy levels, your confidence.
Leah is… the most trusting, honest, selfless friend I could ever have.

Anything that brings awareness to women’s health issue is… a no-brainer for me to support! Without good health you can’t have anything else.

Pip…was dating a friend of mine and I had to “approve” her. We ended up ditching him and keeping our friendship! Our sons are friends and we see each other a lot. Lots of singing, laughing and sometimes crying. It is really important to have someone close to you that you can confide in if things are a bit “weird” health wise.
