This Is How Beyoncé Stays Motivated to Work Out

The singer gets candid in the new Ivy Park campaign video.

Beyoncé film clips have provided workout inspiration to millions for the better part of a decade, and now the “Single Ladies” singer has shared some insight into how she stays motivated to exercise herself. In the new Fall 2016 campaign video for Bey’s much-hyped activewear line, Ivy Park, she explains how visualization techniques help to amp-up her workout.
While the clip shows footage of the entertainer stretching, dancing, and lifting weights, she can be heard on the voiceover saying: “When I’m about to give up, I picture that one person I love more than anyone, I picture them wherever they are in the world, and I imagine myself running towards them. I see their face, and they’re smiling and cheering, and they’re so proud of me. They’re shouting my name and I make it to the end. I push past the pain and I find love.” At around this point, we see some adorable home-video footage of Beyoncé daughter with Jay-Z, Blue Ivy.
Bey shared the campaign footage and accompanying photos with her 85.4 million Instagram followers this morning, simply captioning the clip: “@weareivypark AW16 collection.” It’s already been viewed more than 900,000 times in just a couple of hours.
