You know what they say: teamwork makes the dream work. And if there’s one thing we love seeing here at Amodrn, it’s creative minds working together with other creative minds to create new and wonderful creative things.
As it turns out, there’s quite a lot of this going on at the moment. From exclusive beauty prods to statement kicks, keep scrolling for some of the hottest new collabs that are sitting high on our radar right now.
P.E Nation x Reebok
In an exclusive partnership with global sportswear giant Reebok, P.E Nation has just released their second street-meets-sport collaboration where we see the Reebok Classic Nylon Trainer washed with P.E Nation’s signature geometric branding.
P.E Nation Co-Founder Pip Edwards says: “The Classic Nylon is the perfect hybrid between a performance trainer and a street sneaker and since our first collaboration did so well (selling out online in six minutes), it was an easy decision to go for round two”.
What’s even more exciting, she adds, “is that this time we’re offering the [trainer] in two colourways and in both men’s and women’s sizing to coincide with the introduction of menswear to P.E Nation.”
Bec + Bridge x F+H Jewellery
Talk about homegrown talent! Bec + Bridge has teamed up with Byron Bay accessory label, F+H Jewellery, to create a carefully curated 3-piece capsule that is sure to make a dent in your savings account (damn those new year’s resolutions — we all know January is a trial month, perhaps February can be one as well?).
The collection features luxe statement earrings that’ll take you from beachy days to balmy nights in effortless style. We can’t decide between the Golden Lady Tube Hoops, Mama’s Pearls or the Blue Skies — all plated in premium 18K gold. Looks like we’re just going to have to get all three.
Roxy Jacenko x Skinny Tan
Seriously, there’s no arguing that Roxy Jacenko is one busy little bee. We recently wrote about her clean + lean salad range which launched with Chargrill Charlie’s and now the PR Queen has entered the world of fake tan. Skinny Tan is a vegan self-tan which promises a natural, streak-free, photo-finish glow and no fake tan smell (which is always a bonus!).
A brand ambassador since 2017, Roxy fell in love with Skinny Tan’s original 7 Day Tanner Cream and has since approached the team about creating a darker shade to save busy women the time of applying more than one coat to achieve their desired colour and look.
“ROXY Tan is perfect for the everyday woman who loves to be brown but doesn’t have time to apply multiple coats of self-tanner or visit a salon for a weekly spray tan,” Roxy says. “It’s so easy to use and it’s my way of staying bronzed without damaging my skin in the sun.”
ROXY TAN by Skinny Tan is launching on www.skinnytan.com.au on February 14 as a pre-release and in all Priceline stores come March.
Anastasia Beverly Hills x Amrezy
Move over Champagne Pop (jokes, BECCA, we will always love you) there’s a new highlighter on the block. Cult cosmetic brand, Anastasia Beverly Hills, has recruited beauty blogger Amra Olević (@amrezy) to create a palette that has literally been dubbed “a compact of pure gold.”
This isn’t the first time the beauty brand has partnered with Olević. After a successful eyeshadow collab, both parties decided it was time for the next big thing. Claudia Soare, the president of Anastasia Beverly Hills tells Refinery29: “I often joke with [Amrezy] that she’s my barometer for certain products because she’s so definitive in what she will and will not wear. She was so detailed with this product, and said it had to ‘feel like second skin and be blinding.'”
The highlighter is launching on Valentine’s Day in the U.S, and fingers crossed you’ll be able to get your hands on it in Sephora AUS.
Keds x Kate Spade
Okay, so this one may not be for everyone, and there’s no way I’ll be wearing these on my wedding day, HOWEVER, you gotta give it to them for at least offering what every girl wants and secretly desires — a good pair of dancing shoes that won’t leave you cursing your own feet.
How many nights out have been cut short because you just can not handle that pain anymore?
Enter: Wedding kicks for the bride who values comfort. “Considering the modern bride doesn’t shy away from sneakers, we covered pristine white ones in golden dancing dots that she can wear after the ceremony, during the honeymoon, and comfortably into happily ever after,” the Kate Spade site reads. You can choose from pearl encrusted finishes and glittery options, too.
