This Italian island is one of the world’s blue zones (where people live to over 100) and quite frankly, it’s not hard to see why! From the azure coastline that looks like it’s directly from a postcard to the friendly locals and insanely fresh Mediterranean food, simply stepping off the plane is sure to make you feel 10 years younger.

A real life winter wonderland, Finnish Lapland is best known for its year-round Santa Village (it’s regarded as the home of Santa Claus) However, being right next to the Arctic Circle it also happens to be a phenomenal spot to catch the Northern Lights.

When most people go to Japan, they visit they usual tourist hotspots — Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. However, Japan’s northernmost island Hokkaido is well worth adding to your itinerary, too. From the colourful striped fields to the rugged volcanoes and natural hot springs, the scenery is nothing short of breathtaking.

Sri Lanka

The teardrop-shaped island located just south of India is quickly becoming the holiday destination of choice amongst wellness devotees. The rolling surf and tropical scenery are the perfect backdrop for a growing amount of yoga, surfing and health retreats.

Tasmania, Australia

Due to being geographically isolated from mainland Australia, poor Tassie seems to get forgotten. However, people from all over the world are slowly starting to cotton on to its spectacular mountain ranges, charming cities and next level food and wine — so you might want to pay it a visit before it becomes the next tourist hotspot!

Krakow, Poland

Recently, I’ve been asking my friends who have been to Europe what their favourite city was. The same name comes up over and over again — Lisbon! The Portuguese city may not be as well known as Rome or Paris, but it’s quickly making its way up the list due to its affordability, stunning coastline, warm locals and Insta-worthy architecture.

Slovenia

An element of mystery has always surrounded this Central European country. However, its seen strong tourism growth in recent years, as more people have become aware of the exquisite beauty of their medieval castles, snow-capped peaks and turquoise rivers.
