The decor
Inspired by classic Hamptons interiors, the decor incorporated contemporary elements with rustic accents.
“I had always dreamed of an intimate, romantic, and timeless wedding with soft hues of blush and ivory,” said Bianca.
The dress
For the wedding, the bride wore a show-stopping ivory couture Steven Khalil gown. Heels were by Stuart Weitzman (shop the exact style here), leather clutch by The Daily Edited and jewellery by Kirstin Ash to complement her Harry Winston engagement ring. When it came time for the reception, she topped off the elegant gown with a leather jacket.
The bridesmaids and Groomsmen
The four bridesmaids, Kate Kendall, Chloe Morello, Elle Halliwell and Bianca’s twin sister, Chantel Cheah, were each dressed in different LOVER The Label gowns, which highlighted their individual styles. Their ultra-lush, whimsical bouquets were supplied by Southern Highland’s local grower, Hope Farm. They were made up of pale pink peonies. As for the hair and make-up, it was all about natural beauty with glowing skin, nude lips and tousled locks.
“We all wore white lace, which is quite non-traditional. I wanted the wedding to not just be about me, but everyone who was there, especially my bridesmaids…So the celebration was about all of us together as one,” Bianca told Vogue Brides.
The cake
The stunning naked cake was handmade by Gillian Bell using organic peanut butter cream, delectable dark chocolate ganache and locally foraged edible flowers. A match made in heaven according to the bride and groom.
The wedding favours
Guests were treated to handmade botanical soap by MAPLE as a wedding favour. Each soap was hand crafted from a combination of nourishing coconut and olive oils, added with the super moisturising shea butter and naturally fragrant essential oils.
The food and drink
Bianca and Simon opted for biodynamic wine from Tractorless Vineyard and organic, locally-sourced canapés and main meals from Pearl Catering for the reception.
