For all the city slickers out there, there’s a new bar in town. This time, happy hour is every hour on the hour, in the form of Sydney’s up-and-coming studio: YogaBar. In case you haven’t heard, social wellness is in, meaning its okay to skip the Saturday night dancefloor for a different arena. Now you can swap the glass of red for a sweat sesh and freshly squeezed green juice at the CBD’s newly opened studio, or maybe even pop in for a sneaky salad and Pilates during your lunch break.
With an impressive, light and airy studio space spanning over Level 5 of Sydney’s Westfield CBD, YogaBar also boasts a whole food café and an active wear store, meaning you’ll come for the yoga and stay for the Lululemon, or the hot showers, by the looks of their A-Grade changing rooms.
This all-inclusive studio is setting the bar high, so to speak. What’s not to love about your 6.30am Hot Vinyasa Flow when you can finish it off with a fresh juice (or, if we’re being realistic, freshly ground coffee) and stroll through the shop for all the latest in First Base, Dharma Bums or Nimble Activewear among many others? If you’re not an early bird head on over for an evening class, their timetable is conveniently scheduled in addition to having classes for all levels.
“We are here for the yoga warrior and the yoga clueless, for the flexible, tight, fanatics and curious.”
From traditional yoga to Barre, Yin or Pilates, the instructors want you to tune out of the hustle and bustle of the city and get into your body. With a lighthearted approach, YogaBar wants you to find your happy place on the mat, and we have a feeling this will be our happiest happy hour yet.
