Standalone music capability means you don’t need your phone for a playlist, and it syncs easily with the S Health app.

If a fitness band isn’t for you, the IconX offers wireless Bluetooth ear buds that stay in place throughout your intensive workouts. They track distance, speed, duration, heart rate and calories, and feature a voice guide to help you reach your fitness goal. Garmin Forerunner 35
In the Forerunner 35, Garmin offers its eponymous GPS and heart rate tech in a slim and durable shell. The display screen is scratch proof and water resistant to depths of 50 metres. Once released in Australia, the Forerunner 35 will be available in black, limelight, frost blue, and white.
Peloton Cycle
The Peloton Cycle is a high tech fitness bike for the home. It streams live and on-demand fitness classes from a New York studio. It offers ‘convenient, engaging and high-powered’ workouts, and lets the user interact with other riders across the US, creating an immersive and competitive environment that keeps you motivated from home.
Duoskin
Duoskin plans to offer flash tattoos with computerised functionality. Made from gold and silver leaf, these body accents can be used as a track pad to adjust volume and control a screen, they can change colour to reflect your mood and temperature, and can also transfer data straight from your skin to another device.
