At age 23, Katie Williams has proven herself as a professional athlete. She’s one of the country’s leading beach sprinters, winning World Junior gold and six Australian titles in the last three years alone. But, you may not have heard of her before. Until now, that is.
With health and fitness goals reached and made, Katie defines motivation, discipline, and persistence. For Katie, balance is key. That’s why she’s still training and competing whilst studying a Bachelor of Sport & Exercise Management at UTS Sydney and a Cert IV in Personal Training. Not to mention, she’s also joined The Robards Method team as a female coach to help others reach their true potential.

Getting To Know You

Born: 27/8/93 (age 23).
Lives: Newport, NSW.
Known for: Sprinter, athlete and fitness expert.
Personal motto: You need to ignore what everyone else is doing and achieving. Your life is about breaking your own limits and outgrowing yourself to live your best life. You are not in competition with anyone else; plan to outdo your past, not other people.
Success is: Finding happiness and gratitude. Creating real goals; being financially, mentally, academically, physically, spiritually and emotionally stable.
Advice I would give my 20 yr. old self: Never stop believing, trust the journey and stay true to yourself. Everything happens for a reason.
People are surprised that I: Have a tattoo in my mouth, it says “dream”.
I’m inspired by: Other people. I love hearing other people’s stories. The up’s and downs of life, and their personal history.
From my mistakes, I have learned: We are all human and we all make mistakes, but learning from them is what makes the difference.
My most used emoji is: The cheeky smirk “grin” and the arrow through love heart.
