On Monday, Augst 21st, most of North America will enjoy an epic solar eclipse—and not only is this heavenly sight a rarity, it has massive astrological implications.
Depending on where you are in the United States, you’ll experience anything from a partial eclipse to a complete solar eclipse, during which the sun will be blotted out of the sky and blocked by the moon. This astral event will travel diagonally across North America, starting in Lincoln Beach, Oregon around 9:05 a.m. PST and ending at Charleston, South Carolina at 2:48 p.m. EST. Everyone who’s not in the direct line of the eclipse—including everyone in the contiguous United States, South America, and parts of Europe—will get to witness the moon obscure the sun.
