Launched out of Perth in 2006, abi and joseph have just come across our radar, and ever since first glance (and wear), we’ve been hooked.
The functional, feminine and unique running tanks, throw-over knits, crops and perfectly cut tights (yes, they actually cover your booty) are perfect for the woman who’s been searching for pieces that you can wear to yoga, the gym, and even on the street.
All of abi and joseph’s garments are designed in Australia from the highest quality fabrics with an emphasis on high performance. These fabrics are chosen based on how they will enhance your performance, as well as how they will feel against your skin.
With this in mind, we’ve done the legwork for you and put abi and joseph to the test.
Team Amodrn are not opposed to getting sweaty, whether it is in Downward Dog or pounding the pavement. So we were pleasantly surprised to find that the range could handle the toughest of workouts, and hugged our body in all the right places, curves and all.
Our favourite pieces include the Amour 7/8 Tight (expect a streamlined silhouette, four way stretch capability, sweat-wicking fabric that’s fully opaque and designer mesh panelling that’ll smooth you out and more importantly, hold you in – no more dreaded muffin top!), the Essential White Crop (aptly named considering it was super supportive and comfortable, without creating any side-boob or restricting movement) and the Geo Mesh Throwover (perfect for post-Pilates brunch). But to be completely honest, we couldn’t go past the Ocean Tee. Featuring an invisible draw cord, this soft jersey tee kept us covered during push-ups and inversions. It was the go-to style that we reached for time and time again, no matter what else was on the shelf – just take a quick look in any of our sportdrobes and you’ll know that this is a big deal.
