I didn’t even blink an eyelid when the opportunity to spend a weekend in Los Cabos, Mexico appeared in my seemingly endless inbox. I had never been there before, so I was excited to experience their undeniably idyllic beach culture, and enjoy a fish taco (or ten). Then, when I read where we were staying (um hello, One&Only Palmilla 😍), I knew all my Christmases came at once.
I’m very grateful that in my line of work I get to travel to some of the world’s most beautiful places. One might ask, how does this even happen? But, it’s all part of the job. I travel with bags of photography and filming gear—lights, cameras, tripods, lenses, you name it, we have it—so that we can shoot and produce content to share on Amodrn, just for you!
The majority of our days abroad are filled with finding locations, prepping scenes and shooting what we think you would love. But at the end of the day (you’ll usually find me sipping on a glass of rosé taking in the surrounds, with laptop on lap selecting images for editing) it’s work and we’re both so passionate about it.
As for the clothes, you’ll find my cupboard jam-packed with pretty dresses (just call me the dress lady hahaha 😂🙊). They’re usually beautiful pieces that suit the location and style of content we’re aiming to produce.
So, without further ado, welcome to the first blog post (expect many more to come) from the One&Only Palmilla in Los Cabos, Mexico.

The O&O is so much more than a resort. It’s less a place of accommodation as it is an experience. Here’s why.
