Crockery, kitchenware, glassware, fine china — these are the things you usually find on a typical gift registry. But one look at Gwyneth Paltrow’s wish list and something tells us you won’t be able to find half the stuff she is after at your local David Jones store.
According to a recent issue of Ok! Magazine, Gwyneth’s edit of must-have items is a little err, OTT. Like, out if this world OTT (you’ll see what we mean shortly). And as much as we love Gwyneth here at Amodrn, there’s no denying that the health guru has some questionable views on well, a few different things.

Jade Egg, $83
Think; therapy for your vajajay. A jade egg, for those who don’t know, is a stone that can help cultivate sexual energy, align your chakra, clear chi pathways in the body and intensify femininity.
We trust you can guess where it goes.
Which brings us to our next query, can the egg get stuck or lost? “This is the most common question I get,” Gwyneth addresses on her site, GOOP. “No, it can’t get lost, but these ones have a hole drilled in them, which you can then thread with unwaxed floss, to make it easier to take out, and to generally ease any anxiety about it.” Well, that makes us feel a whole lot better.
V-Steamer, $82
Gwyneth Paltrow put ‘vaginal steaming’ on the map a few years back. That is, exactly what its name suggests — a steamer for your vagina. Some of its said benefits include an energetic release that works to balance female hormone levels, strengthen the nervous system and help with fatigue, headaches, nausea and abdominal discomfort, just to name a few.
But beware, medical professionals have lashed out saying that anything that interferes with (and washes away) the good bacteria that keeps your vagina healthy may be doing you more harm than good (just a thought incase you were thinking of adding one to cart yourself).
Space Exploration (Price varies)
We weren’t joking when we said one is literally ‘out of this world!’. Fancy a trip to space? Not sure for honeymoon or just a casual Friday night, but this is one request that has got fans talking!
There’s a few packages available that give you the opportunity to get on board a spaceship and travel to outer space, and Leonardo DiCaprio is another celeb on the list to embark on the journey. But even so, we’ll believe this one when we see it!

Okay, minus the hefty price tag (we are talking about the rich and famous after all), this is probably the most “normal” out of the lot. The Cactus de Cartier necklace is 18k gold set with 61 brilliant-cut diamonds totalling 0.42 carats and is one of the jewellery items said to be on her wish list. Gwyneth, we’re so with you on this one. You do you, girl.
18-Carat Gold Dumbbells, $158K
She’s definitely got a thing for gold! And we all know that Gwyneth is into her health and fitness, so are we really that surprised? Part gym equipment, part statement piece, these dumbbells are crafted with Grenadilla wood and weights made of 1,000 grams of 18 carat real gold. These babies also appeared on her holiday Christmas gift guide — so it’s safe to say they’re probably high on her list!
