Mèche Salon, the brain child of in-demand celebrity colourists, Tracey Cunningham and Neil Weisberg, is a hair institution. Boasting some of the world’s most renowned hair stylists and a super sleek fit-out, it is no surprise that Mèche is a thriving, creative space.
Tracey Cunningham’s clientele reads like a Hollywood It-list; Ariana Grande, Khloe Kardashian, Karlie Kloss, Emma Stone and Lily Aldridge to name a few. Tracey and Neil see between 200 to 300 clients per week and are on the floor everyday. We were lucky enough to meet with Tracey while she was creating highlights on a client. Her relaxed, warm and friendly aura made it obvious as to why she has had so much success in the industry. Plus, her work is absolutely to die for!
What to expect…
Sitting down for a cut with New Yorker turned L.A. gal Stacy Ho, was a truly memorable experience. Her vivacious energy and confident attitude was infectious. She talked me through her thoughts and vision for my strands. Then, we locked in a style that we were both happy with before heading to the basins for a shampoo. Looking around the salon, it was incredible to see almost eighty people working and getting their hair done. The place was packed! With a staff of 36 stylists you are certain to get an appointment, but only if you book ahead.
When you finish your appointment the staff are more than happy to help you choose the best hair care products to take home. Some of their top selling products include Olaplex to strengthen hair bonds, Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray for that effortless cool-chick hair, Davines Shampoo and Conditioner and Jen Atkin’s acclaimed Ouai Hair Treatment Masque.
This stylish salon also has make-up artists, brow shapers, Keratine and extension specialists as part of their crew of beauty gurus.
