One of my best friends is getting married. Being only 25, she’s the first in our close group to get engaged—and to say that we’re all very excited would be an understatement. In fact, when I heard the news I’m pretty sure I squealed like a piglet! We recently met up to celebrate the occasion over a few rosés. Once we’d covered all the usual topics, we spent a great deal of time brainstorming what this wedding was going to look like.
Suddenly, our group had been transformed into a gaggle of over-eager wedding planners. Would the ceremony be indoors and outdoors? What kind of flowers were we thinking? Would there be fairy lights? And the dress, oh, the dress! Being a young person living in the ridiculously expensive Sydney, my friend is working within a pretty tight budget. But that doesn’t mean her wedding is going to be anything less than spectacular!
Pinterest has already become her new best friend, as there’s no shortage of wedding planning boards to source DIY inspiration from. So, if you too are planning your big day on a budget, these are the accounts you should be following.
